Janice M. Posnikoff DVM
Dr. P has been involved in the OC Equine Veterinary community for more than a decade. Prior to moving to OC in 1995 completed internship at Chino Valley Equine hospital 1994-95.
Born in Canada and attended vet school there at Western College of Veterinary medicine has always had a great love for horses and has worked with them since the age of 13. First equine related job was trail guide, then in the years to follow worked as the high school and college student at the local vet clinic. Also worked as a groom at the race track in Canada and in the final year before graduating from vet school was a working student for Van Dan international, in Burbank, CA where her passion for dressage was ignited.
Now "Dr. P" can be happily found practicing strictly equine ambulatory medicine, lameness, surgery and dentistry in OC. In her spare time she plays with her five house bunnies, rides her horse Prophecy and grooms at dressage shows for her good friend Dory Breneman and their jointly owned pony, Nico.
